Gone to the Sin
I have been playing an internet game called Second Life
Basically, it is a Virtual World. You're a person inside it and you walk around buildings people have created and the other people in the game are real peopleAND IT IS AMAZING
yet I caught a bad feeling off it
a premonition something very bad was happening to someone else
, and I've been through so much in my life that I don't really see human interactions as that big of a deal
as long as you get holidays you can survive anything
and years to recuperate after and your perceptions of what is actually unsurvivable changelike I can get a Massive boil on the bridge of my nose and not really give a shit
whereas as a teenager it would have ruled my world
And I now know what the bad feeling was about:
it was the wrong direction for humanity..The Internet is becoming another plane of reality
, pretty soon it will hover above us all, everywhere we go and in everything we dono one will remember what real life was before it
there'll just be videos and pictures that no one can be bothered looking at because its so old and it's not about communication
except for the communication of old, defunct ideas.
Yet Second Life shows a way for the futureit shows just how immersive it's going to get!
first will be the 3d VR goggles (which are really unnecessary as it's such an incredible world), next will be the access port in your neckand following that we will have the ability to send our brains all the way into the systems
,completely existing as energy.
Sure, there'll still be a few nuts and bolts to physically do with the running of the computers, an odd chip out here and there for the "real worlders" to fix
This is what I'm getting at in my Meaning of Life
Far in the future we will become energy, or at least have the ability to
what started with chatrooms, then into internet gaming, then into a Virtual World, into Second Life
people lose themselvesthey're lost in the net
but just as God cant think without a brain, you cant live without a body!
you cannot LIVEYour emotions, what makes your life worth living, are from your bodies
they are basically the state of your subconscious, as your mind and body are so intrinsically connectedwe could recreate them digitally, but you still would not be alive if you were purely energy
even if you reckon you could, Second Life is not the direction we should be taking.
the Meaning of Life, what it means to us, not the nuts and bolts
is that WE ARE ALIVE
we are the nuts and bolts that make the Universe happenthe meaning to existence, is that we live, BREATH and love in it
we are the thoughts
the thoughts that create
theres your meaning
and by LIVING, which you cannot do without a BODY!
...we give the Universe purpose by being its life
we create god, god the computer observes and begins the universe, which begins us
you can have a paradox!
because if something has already happened then its always going to happenbut it must have taken a big funnel of different possibilities to find the right universe
the Spectrum of Possibility
, the Spectrum of everything and nothing that found a pussy inside what we call 'The Universe'
And we are not living in a computer simulation
we are living in the REAL
yet true hackers and supergeeks throw themselves into the net, thriving on the emotions, but this direction
when we let go of our umbilical cord of reality and go completely to the online world
then we will become the living dead.
I have never understood before why all my older friends kept prattling on about the “real world” and living in itWHAT WE NEED
is to see the internet as a Tool
and not as a lifebecause Earth isn't sorted out yet
it's still mostly shit!we NEED to use the internet as a tool to sort the real world out.
The Meaning Of Life, is that we are not a computer simulation, or in a computer simulation.
and I am going to live it.. .
