Hmm, There's a Naked Bottom of a Naked Woman in my Lap

I have always asked 'What is the meaning of life?'

and answers came and came and came

mostly completely inaccurate.

And I did find some meaning to it all.

I grasped humanity and its GUTWRENCHING history, its pain, its awe and its poor condition.

Not to mention the great improvement.

And I grasped some semblance of reality

and whatever answer you gain from your learning, experiences and reasoning you may come to the real problem with life which is what is the Answer to life?

It is no great shock to anyone to learn that humanity is not very compatible

not very compatible with themselves, with the earth, with living a good and fruitful life

Even though the idea of natural selection means that we are the best at surviving life on this earth.

And the problem we face is that our naturally selected bodies, and brains do not correlate with our hearts

And so we are locked into the great Human Condition

the human condition where we can barely see the woods for the trees, nor win for losing whilst always trying.

In our Science fiction films we strive to see a future where homosapiens have come to find peace and unity and a good life with the earth and our technology.

We also see the other future where we have trashed it all, the planet Earth has become a trash dump and homosapiens have all split from each other and blown themselves up.

Yet what is the most telling in our dreams is the moral of those stories, the moral that given all odds Humanity is a worthy species to exist.

That our good facets will eventually triumph over all our bad ones in times of need.

And the question I am posing myself and all of you reading this, is what is the answer to life?

How should we all rightly live to bring about a good life and a good future that overrules our bad past?

What is the answer that will lift us from the Human Condition and into some form of light and wholesomeness?

It would seem to be the purest aim/heart of any religion to ask for devotion.

The reason for the devotion, and when that devotion is given truly is for the above aim. An answer to life.

To lift the spirit inside, out of the quagmire of human life and into some form of purification where the base shit of life is lost in the love of the divine.

Yet we have come to an age where it is not uncommon to meet someone hollow. Someone you don't quite know where they are coming from. Someone who doesn't believe in anything and who cannot find it no matter how hard they may search.

For, apparently 'God is Dead'.

Old Religions don't make sense any more.

Not with new knowledge. They just don't add up to someone who now knows the modern arithmetic of life.

And so I find, being a philosopher it is not so much the meaning of life that has any use to us, the answer to life is what I seek. For it is what humanity NEEDS.

And I have to say, I do not have a fucking clue as to what that answer is.

New religion are fraught with nutcases who either are going off half cocked, abandoning the rest of the world to pursue a better life, or else they are just scams to rape your children, your wives and take all your money from you.

Personally, I have sought to devote myself to truth and the pursuit of true love, yet those are fraught with dangers and strife too.

What I am seeking is an answer for everyone.

And as of 2009 it doesn't seem to exist.

But as my awe inspiring wife is telling me, love is not just about the love between a man and a woman and so it can be applied to everyone.

Think of a mother's love for a child. A mother would tear out her own beating heart and stomp on it for the safety of her child.

So would a father.

Some would, in a heartbeat give their lives to an animal.

Others for a friend, cousin, brother, or for a forest.

It seems, according to her that all the world needs is for everyone to be loved by someone, or something..

Humanity breeds fuck ups, it is true. Statistically it is scientifically proven that at least 1 in every 200 babies born is psychopathic even.

But even though we can hurt and piss people off, and be pissed off by people. If we actually loved those people and respected their spirit, even though you may also think they were a complete douche. That when the shit hits the fan we can be worthy enough people to drop the bullshit of every day and be there for each other.

I love my wife, and she (thank god) loves me.

Humanity will always be douches, but what we NEED, the answer is to love!
