oh my fucking god, Ive been stuck without Microsoft word for some time, and as someone who likes to write that has blown. Just downloaded openoffice.org, the open source alternative to Microsoft office, and it's lightening fast, professional, and free:D (does everything) (wow, even .pdfs)
the best site on the net for codecs. you need a codec if youre trying to open a video or audio file and it wont work in your windows media player, or it plays video but no sound, or sound and no video. the main problem is figuring out which one you need (I can open all apple files in media player 10)
