I've decided to cheer up
I'm really not a heavy geezer
I couldn't live with myself if I was as strong and deep as I can be

so I'm going to attempt something a little cheery
I may fail

anyway I need to write one more depressing piece, simply because it needs to be done I guess

I'm still a bit drunk btw so forgive me.

I was watching the news the other night

and it was all about how there's these two poor Israeli soldiers being held by Hesbola and Israel launched an all out strike because they want to save them

I was first told about it in the pub
and my first thought was 'Well its a damned good job, gotta save them soldiers, give em hell Israel!'

which is what I was supposed to think

its sickening the way the media is bonded with current affairs
without the media there wouldn't be any terrorism

and If you watch the news like an ordinary person would
then you would buy it
as it seems just like “news”
it seems right and trustworthy

but I'm reminded of what my economics teacher once told me “you're fed the news.”

AND HE WAS 100% RIGHT

You're fed it like a baby
with a spoon

it stirs the emotions in you that they want it to

and its sickening!

Take this new war in Israel
do you think its right and just that they should attack the evil 'soldier imprisoning Hesbola'?

but if you cock your head, and look at it askew
you may even see what is really happening...

Israel was in a war

they built a huge wall to keep themselves safe (“from suicide bombers”)
then they got everyone they cared about behind that wall

and then they waited for some P.R. friendly reason to safely bomb the living fuck out of the enemy.

Why? I don't know

my only guess is that they're warriors
it will serve no purpose, simply because the Palestinians are driven by faith

It's just going to piss them off more.

now if they were wise and not brilliant people,
then they would have sought peace, so they can live happily in their new land forever

and that's just one example

another is the war in Iraq
you may think, and say to your friends that Saddam Hussain was a dictator and needed to be got rid of

whereas the only reason that America and Great Britain invaded Iraq is because of oil

the war in Iraq is just about oil
its as plain as that
the twin towers being destroyed was simply convenience for America
America has little oil
America is a huge country
its trains run on oil
its trucks on oil
it has few canals.

If America didn't have any oil, how would they transport food around?
and you know Americans,
if the police can't get around they start shooting each other for money

if the Arabs decided to cut them off, they would go from world leader to a country in turmoil and out of control.
and instead of developing renewable energy driven transportation,
they think its safest to gain control of the vast oil reserves in Iraq
and as an added bonus they get the chance to tap everyone's computer and phone in the country
so the government is in total power forever
 
America will not leave Iraq until its oil is safe for Americas use Up until it runs dry
Iran also has huge oil reserves
, they're right to develop a nuclear bomb
there is no other way to be safe from America,

Russia once tried to invade Iran,

they first invaded Afghanistan (and slaughtered millions of people), but they couldn't gain control of it.
Afghanistan leads to Iran

oil is power, literally, and it is worth fighting a war over it seems
Russia had absolutely no other reason to invade Afghanistan
I don't think it is worth fighting a war over
there are other ways and means to get it, discussion
and other energy sources
if we simply focused our entire scientific resources into renewable energy driven vehicles, then we'd have a good one in a few years

it wouldn't make nearly as much money for the rich men of the world
so that is probably why we have not, and decided to kill innocent people instead
 

case in point: 'You're fed the news'

 

people are far too stupid,
world leaders I mean

they certainly don't lead me, which means I can live with myself day to day

but they know how unable the common man is to think their way out of what is fed them

so they violate the news,
put a slant on it that will stir the blood in their favor

 

And they simply aren't bright enough to think past their component parts and do something sensible!
they cannot even talk sensibly.

they will lead us to World War III
you can bank on it

what they need to do is learn to respect other peoples beliefs
and just talk and talk and talk
