A Schizophrenic Philosopher's Perspective of the Meaning of life

 

 

[update]Ive been trying to figure out the meaning of life for quite some time

its fun

there follows a brief summary from an email to a fan followed by a bunch of whitttering that was my old philosophy...

 

well my new theory is:

that genes are not modified by god at all
nature created us randomly
and god has little power apart from choosing which souls go where

but this universe is the rational one
it is not a parrallell universe in that theory, because we create a god in
the future, who can access space time and therefore start the universe off
and make it a rational one

THEREFORE we are the universe that was
the one that makes sense and exists

basically everything is a spectrum when talking of the universe
like the periodic table of elements, mathematics and rainbows
these are all things that logically exists
therefore everything that logically exists so exists

including our universe and elements and rainbows and mathematics
and whatever other dimentions also make sense exist too

and we are working pseudo backwards in time to when we create this god
with everything predetermined, although we can choose any path we like and
that will be the path that always was

and when the god does make the universe rational we then live in free time

plus it could do afterlives as well:D

Im trying, once again, to rewrite my philosophy, get it in some sort of shape that people can understand it
I have a low attention span, so it is hard to retrace old steps
thats why I havent done it up till now

here goes

okay lets start big
if god created man then who created god?
Bigger methinks
who created the universe?

I believe, that the universe simply exists
its like a spectrum
there is a spectrum of colors like you see in a rainbow
these are all the possible colors
and a spectrum of elements, the periodic table, all the possible elements

so what if the universe is the spectrum of existence, the possible existence
it exists and exists like it is because it is the possible one, the rational

and it exists with a god , and intelligent creatures, planets, stars and space
they are all parts of the spectrum of stuff that is our universe
the universe where logic works
logic like math
2 + 2 = 4
and god, human or alien can work that out

math is also a spectrum I would say
it is solid and concrete
theres no fuzzy logic about it

yet it is something in the mind
something thought about
and figured out
but it is not created like a bench is made from tools
it simply exists
and it proves that ours is a rational logical universe

so if its so logical then how come life exists?
how come god exists?

my guess is theyre intertwined

god works at lifes DNA
changing it to suit his purpose and create us
then us create him (or her or whatever, it doesnt matter)

my only proof of this is in instinct
like in a dog
a dog with true pedigree of wolf has its own language
when you approach such a dog, if you turn your head for a second, that is asking in dog language if its okay to come past
and the dog usually responds by turning its head a bit, to say its okay
and also when youre closer, rapid blinking means the same thing, and a bit of flattery as well perhaps

this is an instinctive dog language
it is in their DNA

yet it is knowledge, not longer ears or an extra claw or something
evolution is caused by a mutation
and that mutation must occur in the reproductive organs for it to go into the offspring and the offspring's offsprings

yet it is knowledge from the world
its a tenuous argument I know but its the best I can come up with, a biologist would be better at it

and knowledge from the world is from the brain
it doesnt go into your DNA
your thoughts do not go into your child

and this knowledge must be implanted in the mutation in a way that will unzip it into the offspring, as the offspring's brain is growing

thats like by freak accident a random computer file being generated that will self extract and install itself on a supercomputer and actually perform a function

its not going to happen is it?
so god must be effecting the DNA, some outside force

so god created all our ancestors, all life on earth was in ways created by god and in other ways created by natural selection
we are all related
all life on here, every being

so that makes some sense of why were here
but they you still have to rationalise why god is here
how come?

god NEEDS a brain
people dont seem to understand that
you cant think without a brain can you?

and this is a rational universe, so god cant have been created when the universe was
and god cant always have existed
unless god can manipulate and live outside of time

which frankly is a skill I would require in a god

you could probably live like that and still have a brain in the real
theres probably a lot you could do with knowledge of the universe and technology

we must create god, its obvious
us or some aliens
he cant have got his brain from anywhere else now could he?
be rational

and the most likely idea is that god is a computer
,
Im very clever, and it freaks me out and I make mistakes
thats 1 biological normal brain

if it were a million times more intelligent then it would go amazingly crazy, trust me

so it would make more sense for god to be a computer

Im talking hundreds of thousands of years into the future here
human technology will be able to do anything

we can even create an afterlife for ourselves for when we die
a heaven

think about it
we could
and may have done already
a spaceship to a caveman would have blown him away, he wouldnt think it possible
so with the same time to progress, is an afterlife too much to think possible for us today?

 

the afterlife idea interests me
if it were run by humans
then it would probably be full of people fucking each other over
and one upping each other
if it were run by a god, then it might be better

it would be like a virtual world, like http://www.there.com
not real
but also free from the real
free from the strife of humans who havent even figured out to be nice to each other yet *rolls eyes*

and the ones who havent figured it out, get booted back out to try grow as people
so they can live with themselves for eternity

 

[update]what about quantum physics?

the physicists are looking really closely at the world and seeing that the core of matter is unsubstantial

it blinks in and out of existence all the time, and the only reason we haven't noticed it by now

is that when we observe it it jumps into line for us

some go so far as to say that what were not looking at buggers off to another plain somewhere or nowhere

which is not this universe

because if you came over to see me, and no one was looking then you'd see the place exactly as I see it

so if all this is true it means I think that God can access space time

and god observes the universe to keep it in existence

so funnily enough god really is everywhere, keeping things buckled down

 

and all god would have to do to start the universe, is to (as soon as it is created) look back in time to the beginning, and simply start observing

everything would jump into line and a spectrum of the possible would burst forth

 

 

 

well thats about my philosophy
, makes more sense than other religions youve got to admit
I dont believe in miracles
except the miracle of life, which I shall rabbit on about later
