do we have a soul?

a soul is a means of transition of the core being between life and death, or death and life

what is a soul though?   what is it about You that is your soul?

 

what is your essential being?

what looks out from behind your eyes?

 

to understand that, you would have to strip every thought of human emotion (which is pure chemicals)
and you would have to strip what made you who you are today

Leaving only what you naturally became

and you are left with who you are
which would be your soul,

the tone to who you are

the feeling/sense: I'm me

I'm thinking about this because the idea of True Love peaked my curiosity

I mean its a nice concept, I was indoctrinated into it earlier in life from a story I heard as a child;

The tale that man and woman used to be one being
and then God split them apart, forever to roam the world looking for their other half.

 

that sort of thing can fuck a person up

 

but love, love feels so sweet, so wondrous, it can drive a person, or lift a person higher than they've ever been before

 

but does that sweet feeling denote that Love is a Truth to be revered? or is it just sweet mind pleasing occurrences sending body chemicals exuding happiness to your cells?

 

Most relationships are complete bollocks

there's 6,561,342,495 people in the world today, and people usually choose one of the say 90 million people they're suitable for, the person they find nearby.

 

The relationship doesn't start off with true love (I've experienced love at first sight, and it's nonsense)
the relationship starts with bullshit
dazzling bullshit that attracts each one to the other

 

people will stay together a while, and either they don't like the rest of the partner's bullshit or they change, one grows, the other doesn't, they leave apart
or if lucky, grow together

 

and the only reason they got together, wasn't for love, it was for the species' continuation

it was in their genes to get together, the same for couples who don't have children

it's there because without we wouldn't be on this planet today as humans

 

the pull of the need of partnership and sex is too hard to resist unless circumstances prevent you

So True Love, if hypothetically it does exist and you meet the person in 3 billion,

then it can't be just super compatibility; you'd have that with Miss/Mr 2,999,999,995 and 2,999,999,999,994,

it must be a combination of souls, a combination of the core of two people and the rest is just love love, with all its many benefits and pitfalls

 

and say for True Love, if souls do exist, then what's to say your partner soul is even alive at the moment?

they could be chilling in the afterlife and waiting to see how much you've changed when you get back
not to mention on the other side of the world and 80 years older than you.

if god really does give a little kick to the path of our lives now and then for other purposes, then maybe that kick might be intended to bring together two people and two souls for the love they could have together,

it's the only way you could beat those odds

 

 

THEN it would be possible, perhaps
but you wouldn't recognize the soul as your partner until you got to know it

which makes things even more unlikely as poeple are constantly changing in mood and reality and opinion

and a person needs to be tested before you can see what's at their core and see their soul, although you would probably just 'click'

 

There's something else souls bring up

there's reincarnation;
something quite likely, as if there is an afterlife, there wont be many people who'd be able to stand who they are for 100,000 years+

and will want to come back for more

 

it'd be like suicide in the afterlife, being born again

and if god is planning something, then one thing it would have control over would be which souls went behind which babies eyes to do which unknowing job as the causes of fate bounce off it in the life

 

and that would give a God an enormous power

it may be able to change hardly anything in the cooking

but it can add the ingredients at the right time
And that ingredient is YOU.
