ugh
hungover
I was reading Dune by Frank Herbert a few weeks ago
it really is a remarkable work
very powerful thoughts in it

so much so it made my anti-psychotic dumbed down brain alive once again

I started by posing myself a question
about time
if my timeline is a straight line of memory
and the future is a web of possibility

then would some guy in America, whom I didn't know or have any connection to,,
does his timeline have anything to do with mine?

his timeline would also be a straight line of history, and a web of future possibilities that get funneled into history when he makes a decision

(Ill try to keep this short, not many people on line read long passages, I know I have difficulty with them)

and I realized that his history is linked to my history in the genes, there is a timeline of the genes that we are
the bodies/brains that we are

and that history fans out back in time from me, it links me and the American guy, and every other human on earth unto the first homosapiens, down to a single pair of beings

then it branches out again

linking us, and our ancestors to another web of genes
those of animals

back down to the first great ancestors
then it fans out again
my history, the Americans history, all animals history, all our genes go back in time to the insects
branching out again unto the plants and the first cell on Earth

and then there is the possibilities in all that history

,
a plant does not think, so they do not make decisions
their life is decided by the winds and the rains
a plants timeline is pretty straight if there are no animals to eat it

in its history there is a straight line, as with us
but the future is also pretty straight
there are not many possibilities, it lives dumb
the sun was always going to shine, that wind was always going to blow its seeds, it was always going to spread, then get overtaken by that weed and die

or it was going to die by that mold, which has a similar timeline and future of few possibilities

then theres the timeline of the world, the planet

it is more dumb, for it does not live
if there were no animals,
then nothing would change here.

its web of possibilities would be low, its timeline just one straight line

for it does not make decisions.

,sure the weather is quite random
but it is not alive
it is dumber than the plants

if its in the now
and a storm will brew in the future

then that is the timeline
no life no change
there is no other possibility
the storm will always brew

but when you add animals into the mix
there you get into the realm of possibilities proper

an animal can make decisions

not sure about how insects think, so I'm not going into them

an animal has more possibility

the more alive you are, the more decisions you can make, the bigger your affect on the world
the bigger your effect on everything!
ugh, I need more coffee

look at this diagram (I apologise for poor quality, bear in mind this is free)

there is a fox and a rabbit

their history is a straight line
but their future is a web of possibilities, which come to fruition in the present

and they interact
the fox is sniffing around because its cubs were hungry

the rabbit is chewing on some leaves

a drop of rain interacts with their lives
if the rabbit decides to eat some more
or decides to go find some shelter, decides everything

and the resulting decision affects the whole thought pattern of the fox in the future
which will change the timeline of the cubs and that of the rabbit warren
so the total effect on the world is monstrous

and what if someone sees it happen?

if you add humans into the mix!
we are versatile
we effect just about everything on the planet

we are like a storm of decisions
and a storm of manpower
and we create tools
there is also a history and timeline of tools/technology
and it's timeline it's 'genes' if you will
are linked to the very first fire and the very first plant

humans change possibilities dramatically
a creative human can see a tool, and add it to some problem of the world, and create a better tool
[I believe that's why we used mostly a handaxe stone for so many thousands of years ; because it's technology was so simple, there was so little to build upon and invent with]

and the tool, say its an axe,, makes rampant changes in the future of trees, on the thoughts of everyone who comes into contact with the tool, on the deaths of the animals from the tool so their lives also and their possible offspring's

and the well fed and warmed humans give birth to more and more humans
which give birth to more
and the invention of the tool changes the lives of the entire human race

because we are all interlinked
my connection to the American is weak
but we are connected in the web of possibilities

he changes something with a decision
I change something by a decision
and those possibilities lives touch each other in the future and create a new possibility

and what links us all
is that we are all in the now
we all exist at pretty much the same time
we are a driving force of change
changing everything

we are conscious
we are THE consciousness

we are all linked in our history, in the history of possibilities
in the timeline of each thing which changed a decision

like the tool, each decision interacts with everything else and the result of that decision, the possibility and future history it causes has its own timeline,
a life to the possibility
which weaves around the massive super complex web of all the possibilities and propagates
and changes more things

all of our histories, us, the insects, the plants, the planet are all one straight line of history that is near infinitely complex in its web of possibilities
and what links us all
in the mass consciousness
is that we are all doing this at the same time
we are all making this history
this history of Earth
this CHANGE in things

and the kicker is
the more awake you are,
the more conscious of your own life and not some drone who does not think independently
the greater effect you have on Earth
and on the universe, if you count the radio waves beamed out,
and our future out there
the planet without life is the timeline of the storm
a storm brews
a storm always brewed
the storm storms
the storm is over
thats how it always happened

someone who makes decisions based on whats deemed normal
is similar to the timeline of the storm, the timeline of a dead mind

their friends wear tracksuits, so they buy and wear a tracksuit
they always wore a tracksuit

someone who thinks for themselves, even if they don't think they're doing much

are having a MASSIVE impact on the world
because their decisions are unique

their friends wear tracksuits, they fancy wearing a bow tie
the decision to wear the tie impacts everyone who sees them and sends each ones thoughts into new realms that would not have occurred with the tracksuit

And to get onto God,
if one changes one little junction on the web of possibility of the world,
of all the histories of things that change, each web of change interlinked with every other web
it causes both good and bad things to happen in the future

we are all so intricately bound that one change god makes, even something very tiny, will make a massive difference on earth

if it stops the holocaust that is a good thing
if it stops the holocaust it could cause a great many bad things
it will also change absolutely everything

there is both good and bad in that everything

maybe god couldn't stop the holocaust because to do so would change too much for the worst
maybe stop god being created (if I am right)

maybe god has already stopped another genocide further back in history (for the greater good) and that in turn ended up causing the holocaust of WWII

the processing power in seeing the web of possibilities and the future of us, the web of Earth
the processing power to change one little thing and know the result

it must be massive
every move of such a god would have to take Everything of Earth into account
and cause untold misery and untold happiness

even for God, life must be some amazingly complex and difficult.
